Penguin and Melville House Twitter Fisty-cuffs

It seems that Taylor Swift isn’t the only person with bad blood. Last week the two publishing houses set their twitter battalion at the ready with some top quality banter(?). Who knows if Melville ever sent the books!

Nosy Crow have announced their partnership with the British Museum

Another notch for Children’s Publisher Nosy Crow to add to their partnership belt. The British Museum now sits firmly next to the National Trust on partnering with Nosy Crow. They will be publishing books collaboratively from 2017 onwards. They’re also hiring lots of new faces as a result so check that out too!

Nosy Crow announced this over on their blog.

Robert Galbraith’s Third Book Published

JK Rowling’s crime pseudonym, Robert Galbraith, publishes 3rd Cormoran Strike novel Career of Evil was published today! You can read the first two chapters over on The Guardian, here and  Time here.

There’s an interesting article on The Bookseller that discusses the challenges for self-publishing into foreign countries. I couldn’t help but find the article very intriguing and the comments from publishers even more so. Definitely worth a read!
